McSPORRAN
Malcolm McSporran is the principle member of Quinkatla. Having grown up in Toronto, Ontario, he attended the School of Architecture at the University of Toronto in the early seventies, and continued architectural studies in Vancouver with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Sylabus Programme.
Since 1978 he has been active in land and building development in British Columbia, working with several architects and developers in Vancouver; as well as carrying out his own projects.
Most of his development and design work has been in large scale residential, resorts and hotels; and First Nations projects. He has brought a strong design-oriented approach to development, while taking a special interest in integrating historic cultural themes into modern buildings.
